Reading
I’m currently reading two different books, The Three-body Problem and The Atlas of AI. The Three-Body Problem is the first book in the science fiction trilogy Remembrance of Earth’s Past by Liu Cixin (translated by Ken Liu), it explores the consequences of humanity's first contact with an alien civilization. The Atlas of AI by Kate Crawford is a book about the politics of artificial intelligence, it explores the way that AI systems are created and used, and the way that they reinforce and amplify existing systems of oppression.
